mcg to mg converter
Type a number in any box and the others update. 1 mg = 1,000 mcg.
The rule
- mcg → mg: divide by 1,000. 250 mcg = 0.25 mg.
- mg → mcg: multiply by 1,000. 5 mg = 5,000 mcg.
- mg → g: divide by 1,000. 500 mg = 0.5 g.
"mcg" and "µg" mean the same thing: micrograms. Mixing up mg and mcg is a factor-of-1,000 error, which is why labs write units on every label.
